Brigham Bowmen Fall Newsletter
Greetings ALL,
Fall has definitely arrived … how many of you blinked and missed the beautiful fall colors like I seemed to have done? Oh well, time to get into the mode of Indoor Archery!! Here is a quick guide for the Brigham Bowmen Fall schedule. Full details will be posted at the Bowery, or give a Board member listed at the bottom of this letter a call with any questions.
We will be setting up the Bowery on Saturday October 17 at 8:00 am. We realize that some of you will have a conflict with the rifle deer hunt opener, but those who can come out and help us get set up. We need trucks, trailers, screwdrivers, and ladders. If we get a large turnout we will split a few members off to go up and close up the balance of the range in Mantua, so come prepared with gloves and shovels just in case. We had 2 good work parties in September so we just have a few things left to make sure that we satisfy the Forest Service before winter sets in and covers it up! (finish up your work hours and get your membership discount for 2010)
To have our usual FITA League this Fall we need to begin shooting the week of October 26, so it is critical that we get as many as can help on the 17th which will leave us only 1 week to tie up any loose ends! Hours this fall will be the same as in the past, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday morning and evening, and we are also going to be open Sunday morning this year for those working odd shifts. Wednesday will still be open for the youth. Check the Bowery door and bulletin board for hours and Lane Captain assignments and phone numbers!
We will be hosting a FITA Invitational Shoot on November 14 & 15 and will need some volunteers to help out. (a good work hours project)
Our Turkey shoot/Fun shoot will be held Saturday November 28th at 6:00pm. It is free to club members and $5.00 for non-members.
