BRIGHAM BOWMEN NEWSLETTER JANUARY 2010

 

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

 

Your current membership will expire on December 31, 2009. You can renew your membership any night at the Bowery with the range captain.

 

A $3.00 fee needs to be paid for shooting on each non-scoring night you shoot or you can sign up for unlimited practice for any night the bowery is open. It is $35 for a single and $50 for a family. This does NOT include a new target each time you shoot. If you prefer a new target you can purchase them for $1.00 each.

 

Shooting Hours:

Monday 6:00-9:00 PM                                     Tuesday 6:30-9:00 PM

*Wednesday Kids Night*                                 Thursday 6:30- 9:00 PM

Friday 6:30-9:00 PM                                        Saturday 9:00-noon & 6-9:00PM

Sunday 11-3:00 PM

 

NFAA League sign up will be January (4-8th) and scoring will begin on January 11th.

Four man teams, if you sign up individually you will be assigned to a team. The league will run for 10 weeks, and the cost is $30.

 

We would like to know if you would like to still get newsletters in the mail or if you would prefer to get them on e-mail. Please contact Kathy at roynkat@q.com or call 435-723-3040 and let her know which you prefer.

 

*Kids league will start on January 13th.Young shooters start at 5:00pm, intermediate shooters start at 6:00pm and advanced shooters will shoot at 7:00pm. It will cost $10 and run for 8 weeks. All kids MUST have parental supervision with them.

 

The UBA Banquet will be on January 30th at Utah Valley University in Orem.   Please see the attached flyer for information and a map on how to get there! Hope to see you all there. They will be inducting Roy and Kathy Evans into the Utah Archery Hall of Fame.

*The Vegas warm up will be February 13 & 14th, 2010.

*Our State Indoor shoot will be March 6 & 7, 2010.

*The Brigham Bowmen Banquet will be held on April 9, 2010.

*We will take down the bowery on April 10, 2010.

 

*This will be a perfect time to get in some hours towards your membership next year.   More information will follow.
